This tiny treasure is one of those pieces that feels like it wandered in from another century. It’s an original “Smallest English Dictionary in the World” created by David Bryce & Son, known for their exquisite miniature books in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Tucked inside its original metal locket with a built-in magnifying glass, this little book was meant to be worn, carried, and shown off as a clever novelty. Even now, it still has that same quiet charm… a small object with a big personality.
Very good condition. The pages are clean and complete, the leather shows gentle age, and the magnifier is clear. The locket closes securely. It's a beautifully preserved example of one of Bryce's most collectible creations.
